🕵️‍♂️ House Hunters Rules of Engagement

How it Works

  • 1️⃣ House Hunting: A user visits CITIRENTS and orders live house hunting.
  • 2️⃣ Notification: You receive a notification showing the house type and location requested.
  • 3️⃣ Groundwork: Visit the area and collect all vacant houses you find. We pay KES 100 per submission.

1. House Hunter Role

Relationship: You are a House Hunter, not an employee of Opskill (the company operating CitiRents). You are responsible for your transport, data bundles, airtime and safety. All house hunting must be done during the day.

Role: You will collect vacant houses in your area by taking photos and submitting required details such as rent, caretaker contact, and location.

Payouts: Payments are made only for Approved Submissions. WE DO NOT PAY FOR TEST ENTRY

Submissions may be rejected due to:

  • Poor image quality
  • Duplicate listing
  • Inaccessible location
  • Has private items / conversations
  • Incorrect rent details
  • Unreachable contact person
  • Already listed property

Restricted Areas: Do not access restricted or government areas where photography is prohibited. Always obtain permission before viewing or photographing the property.

2. Mandatory Submission Criteria

  • 📍 Live GPS Tag: Submit listings while physically at the property.
  • 📷 Photos: 3–6 photos showing the entrance, rooms, kitchen, bathroom, and building exterior.
  • 📞 Verified Contact: Valid caretaker or landlord phone number.

3. Fraud & Quality Control

The following actions lead to immediate termination and loss of payouts:

  • ❌ Recycled media from old listings
  • ❌ Fake data such as incorrect rent or contact details
  • ❌ Submitting houses you did not visit

4. Other Requirements

  • ✅ Active on WhatsApp
  • ✅ Smartphone with clear camera
  • ✅ Living within the target area
  • ✅ Able to speak English and Swahili

5. Code of Conduct

  • 🤝 Professionalism: Always be polite to caretakers and landlords.
  • 📄 Property Rights: All submitted photos and data become the property of CitiRents and may be reused.
